About the Company: Lumen America is the parent company of 2 brands based in Athens, Greece: INO Design and Trapeze. We are currently bringing the beauty and style of Grecian textiles, including pillows, totes, lunch bags, placemats, and more, to the United States. We are a recent edition to the Lumen Family, and are looking for people to help us build and expand in the American market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs.
  2. Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and social media to generate leads.
  3. Schedule and conduct product demonstrations or presentations for potential clients.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements:

  1. Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in a startup or textile environment.
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate a sewing machine at a basic level to produce high-quality products according to design specifications.
  2. Conduct quality control checks to ensure finished products meet quality standards.
  3. Package small orders accurately and efficiently according to packing guidelines.
  4. Ensure all items are properly labeled and packaged to prevent damage during transit.
  5. Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  6. Keep shipping area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Experience operating sewing machines.
  2. Attention to detail and a focus on producing consistent, high-quality work.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
